Recap of September 2023 Meeting

Salil Darji — AI Tinkerers - Boston
October 04, 2023

We had a really successful event in September! There were many excellent talks from a number of different AI Tinkerers:
+ Alex Alcivar shared his work on analyzing Boston 311 cases, including creating predictions on response times for various incidents. For example, trying to predict a response time for a specific pothole request.
+ Chip Ernst shared his work with roli.ai, and helping companies with their first AI use cases.
+ Subash Rajaseelan from Northeastern University discussed his work on automatically matching students to Coop positions.
+ Eric Hasan demo’d and discussed his work around generating 3D CAD designs using GANs.

There is a lot of excitement building and the demos and discussion continues to impress. We’re excited about the next event at the NERD center this month, and we hope to see you there! The RSVP for that is coming soon!
