Recap of November 2023 Meeting

Our meeting this week was a success! We kicked off with a bang, with more demo sign-ups than ever before. However, timing did pose a challenge as some had to leave before it concluded. Here are our key takeaways:

• If you need to leave early, inform us so we can plan accordingly.
• We’ll improve time management during demos to ensure everyone participates.

The presenters and their topics:

• Alex Alcivar spoke about his Boston 311 project and shared his notebook. He says he has taken this as far as he can and we’re all looking forward to his next project.
• Ivan Campos shared his thoughts on what was presented at OpenAI’s DevDay, and he did demos of a lot of the new functionality, including Custom GPTs.
• Vineet Sinha gave us insight into his work on design patterns for Generative AI and led some interesting conversation on the topic.
• Alif Jakir spoke about XR Agents and shared some demos of his progress with 3d models.
